Jordan and I met in the summer of 2023 thanks to a little matchmaking. My best friend Ashley was dating Ryan (now engaged!), who happened to be Jordan’s friend and teammate at the time. Ryan was living with Jordan in San Antonio that summer, and Ashley was visiting often. With my best interest in mind, she decided it was time to set us up.

One weekend I came to San Antonio with Ashley to visit, and Jordan and I hit it off right away. Not long after, our relationship began with a bit of an adventure. I left to study abroad for five weeks, which quickly turned us into a long-distance couple.

For three years, our relationship was built through lots of travel and time on the road: back-and-forth visits between College Station and San Antonio, then Houston and San Antonio. Through it all, we built a strong foundation of communication, grew close with each other’s families and friends, and made countless memories along the way.

Now we’re finally both in San Antonio, and we couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter together. We feel so blessed to have the love and support of our family and friends and can’t wait to celebrate our marriage in one of our favorite places.
